Campus Life [M]

Campus Life seeks to engage young people wherever they are found as lifelong followers of Jesus Christ.  Normally we run 6 Campus Life [M] clubs in Frederick County and a high school student leadership program that incorporates the YFC Core program. We also run a Campus Life [M] club in Washington County:

Crestwood Campus Life- meets on Monday afternoons from 3:00-5:00 at South End Baptist Church.

Monocacy Campus Life- meets on Thursday afternoons from 3:00-5:00 at Frederick Church of the Nazarene.

Gov. Thomas Johnson Middle Campus Life- meets on Thursday afternoons from 3:00-5:00 at the school.

Thurmont Campus Life- meets on campus Tuesdays after school.

Walkersville Middle Campus Life- meets on Tuesday afternoons from 3:00-5:00 at Walkersville United Methodist Church.

West Frederick Middle Campus Life- meets on Thursdays from 3:00-4:00 at the school.

Windsor Knolls Campus Life- meets on Tuesday afternoons from 3:00-5:00 at the school.

Boonsboro Middle Campus Life- meets on Monday nights at 6:30pm at Boonsboro Bible Church.

Due to COVID we have changed our ministry model for the time being and are running small groups instead of large club meetings. In Frederick County we currently have:

  • A girls small group held at South End Baptist that meets Mondays

  • 3 small groups meeting at homes serving students from Windsor Knolls and 2 small groups meet at Walkersville UMC on Tuesdays

  • 1 small group meeting at Staley Park on Thursdays

  • we also have our high school student leaders meeting bi-weekly on Mondays

Campus Life Middle School ministry combines healthy relationships with creative programs to help young people make good choices, establish a solid foundation for life, and positively impact their schools.

We also train high school students to be leaders with our Frederick Area leadership program. Our high school student leaders participate in a joint bi-weekly YFC Core meeting as well as help weekly with their respective middle school club. Our students who are nominated to participate in this program must register and commit to 10 days of concentrated training over the summer including participating in 2 fundraisers in spring.
